Heart of the Family currently has four preschool classrooms, where the children range in age from two and half to four years old. Preschool is a time where children are developing their social, emotional, and intellectual skills. They are finding out who they are as an individual and building their self-esteem.

Play has a major influence on their development and how they learn. In our preschool classrooms, the children’s learning is based on their interests as well as their basic skills, which is then structured around the different areas in the classroom: art, science, sensory, math, dramatic play, block and literacy.
